VA Agency Explanation
On July 1, 2012 Virginia’s real estate agency law changed – this is the law that governs how Realtors® and their clients do business together. The law helps keep consumers fully informed about the real estate services they’ll receive and the nature of their relationship with our licensees.
In accordance with Virginia Law:
- Our Licensees will disclose any brokerage relationship to members of the public who are unrepresented.
- Our Licensees will ask if you have a written agency agreement with another Broker.
- Our Licensees will have a written agreement to represent a seller, a buyer or in some circumstances, both buyer and seller.
- KINGSMILL REALTY, INC WILL FOLLOW THE LAW.
