Sandy has been a licensed Realtor since 1985, when she began her career in Florida. She obtained her Virginia Real Estate license in 1992.

A graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a BS in Education, Sandy has always believed in the importance of education in order to provide the best possible professional service to her Real Estate clients. She is a Graduate of the Realtor Institute of Virginia, a member of the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council as an Accredited Buyer Representative, a Senior Real Estate Specialist, and a member of the Council of Certified Residential Specialists. Sandy currently serves on the Williamsburg Area Association of Realtors Board of Directors and is a past member of the Williamsburg MLS Board of Directors. She has served on numerous professional committees and was selected Williamsburg Realtor of the Year in 2001.

Sandy is a strong advocate of giving back to one’s community and has volunteered in such diverse areas as adult literacy, international student exchange coordinator and host parent, a docent at the Abby Aldridge Rockefeller Folk Art Center, and rescuing brown pelicans on Florida’s Gulf Coast. The project nearest to her heart is the American Cancer Society’s Williamsburg Relay For Life, which she co-founded in 2000 and still serves as a member of the Steering Committee. She is also a member of the Mid-Atlantic Leadership Council for the American Cancer Society.
